Feedback from you about Be Real Magazine
Tell us what you think too.

I came across the magazine completely by accident... something caught my eye, an article about a woman who wrote about being "single again." I got hooked after reading and browsing, marked it in favorites, and here I am! I find it heartwarming, real, honest, funny, and more!!! Somewhere I can go and spend time when I feel depressed, down, sad, moody...or happy and imaginative, it makes me want to sit down and write...being a single mom of an autistic son, I have experienced a lot walking down the path of raising my son in this world...Thank-you!!!! - Dawn

Found the site by accident one day and really like the stories. Just wanted to drop you a line because I spend a lot of time on my site and really don't hear too much in the way of feedback except from co-workers and friends so I wanted to give you some feedback about your site. The stories are great and the writers have a conversational style that is easy to read. Good job! - Adrian

I've just read most of the essays and WOW, they are powerful.  Some of my favorites were:  Sex in the Outback, Incredible Shrinking Woman, Apologizing to Mandy and The Power of Letting Go.
With Sex in the Outback, how great that she was able to rediscover her sexuality and feel like the desirable and beautiful woman that she is.
I can really relate to the story in the Incredible Shrinking Woman.  Today I still struggle with valuing my own judgment and myself just for being and not for anything I have or what I do.  I also am beginning, over the past couple of years to feel like an adult who is worthy of respect; I'm now 31.
The Power of Letting Go was very inspiring.  I love how you were able to surrender to the reality of your life now and accept it for what it is and embrace it.  It sounds like you've grown and healed from going through this experience with your mother. - April

I recently discovered your magazine and I think it's great.  I am patiently awaiting the next issue! - Kelly

I was curious to know if you are still an active site!!  =)  The essays are pretty cool, but I haven't seen anything new in a while. - Dawn

Editor's note:
Yes!  We're still active, we're just procrastinators, like most people.
