Dear Little Self:

Will you please get off your duff and DO something?  Yes!  All those things you think and think and think and think and plan and plot and plan and mull and think about…?  Go DO them!  Follow your impulses and don’t worry about the future.  Live in the moment.  Do what your heart is calling out for you to do!  Try everything and laugh your head off as you fail miserably.  Who cares?!  The more things you do out in life the more chances you have of stumbling into something wonderful and amazing.  See that word, “stumbling”?  That’s how you find the most miraculous stuff – when you’re willing to let yourself be imperfect for a minute. Experiment!  Explore!  Discover something fun and silly!  Let yourself be you.

Love,
Your Older Self

Hey Gorgeous,

Go to yoga.  It's good for your body.  It's good for your head.  GO!

love,
me

Baby Darlin,
Nothing in this world is more precious than happy, mischievous you. I know you started racing toward life before they finished "Ready Set Go!" and I'm not sorry you did. If they pull you out for cheating and running ahead in life, kick 'em in the shins.

When little things get you down, stomp em. When big things get you down, find something bigger to bounce you back.  Remember to draw and write your experiences.  (Realizing the value and lesson in experience allows you room to have plenty of new experiences, sweetie.) Above all, love yourself the way you love blue sky, swimming, and mint chocolate chip ice cream.

Yours Truly,
Grown Up You
