Photographers

We will take original photographs for a couple things:

For the Future Famous Photographers category, almost any photographs will be considered. Photographs containing blatant nudity will most likely not be included because we're not that brave.

We also want photos that tie in with the recurring articles we feature. Please tell us where you think it fits, although we may think it's a perfect something for something else.  The list of articles lives here.

Here's the rest of what you want to know:

1) We're accepting digital photos (either scanned or original digital images) only.  
Email photos to "submissions at berealmag dot com"

2) We will accept only un-retouched photos.
"Being Real" is not about making it perfect!

3) Photographs may be black & white or color. We like both.

4) Send us your photos by the right date.  These are the right dates:

5) You may include a brief, 1-3 sentence of how this photo came into existence. Did you have to climb through cow pastures and dodge cow pies? Did you have to wait for five days during your vacation for the perfect sunset? We want to know what went into the creation of your masterpiece and a little smidgeon about the person behind the lens.

6) For the moment, we have a dream but no money, and thus we invite you to join our dream and have no money to share with you. We want this to change soon!

7) We will keep your photos on file for a while. We'll let you know if yours is going to be used.
